03/22/2026 - The Hearts of Mercy Youth Council hosted its third fundraising event—a lively bowling social at Bowlero Anaheim—bringing together 60 young adults from across Southern California for an afternoon of fun games, food, and connection. The event served as an opportunity to strengthen community ties while raising awareness for the organization’s mission and ongoing initiatives. It offered attendees a chance to reconnect, meet new people, and engage around a shared purpose in a welcoming and energetic environment. Our expanding reach reflects the passion of the young adult community and their commitment to making a positive impact.
03/08/2026 - The Young Hearts network, now active across the U.S. and internationally, held its first-ever East Coast event: a lounge dinner in New York City’s East Village that united people from diverse backgrounds for an elevated evening of exceptional food, live music, and meaningful conversation — sparking new connections, collaborations, and plans for future regional programming.
02/22/2026 - Young Hearts for Syria hosted its first fully youth-led event for the project: a Ramadan iftar at Angry Al’s in Huntington Beach, CA. Led entirely by young organizers, the dinner drew 120 attendees, energized the community, and raised substantial funds and awareness for our relief efforts. The evening featured locally sourced catering, personal testimonies, a brief program outlining the plan of action, and intimate collaboration — strengthening volunteer leadership and creating momentum for follow-up outreach and advocacy.
